Marking the 100th anniversary since the famed urbanist was born, the annual Jane's Walk took place over the May 6th-8th weekend. These free, citizen-led walking tours were inspired by Jane Jacobs - an activist and urbanist whose writings and actions championed a fresh, community-based approach to city building. The walks encourage story telling, community involvement, and neighbourhood connection, and First Gulf was privileged to once again lead a tour of our site at the base of the DVP, East Harbour.

The event was a huge success again this year, with several community members braving the cloudy skies to tour the 60-acre site, ask questions about the planning process, and find out more about the largest land development in Canada.  Thank-you to everyone who joined us on Sunday - we're looking forward to participating again next year.
